2) Data Collection When You Visit Our Website

2.1 When you use our website for purely informational purposes, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser transmits to the website server (so-called "server log files"). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

The website you visited
Date and time of access
Amount of data sent in bytes
Source/referrer from which you accessed the page
Browser used

This processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be disclosed or used for any other purpose. However, we reserve the right to subsequently review the server log files should there be concrete indications of unlawful use.

2.2 This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries to the data controller). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix and the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

We use the following provider's system to host our website and display its content: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify")

Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada

All data collected on our website is processed on the provider's servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

When data is transferred to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

4) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for a longer period and allow us to save website settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find information about the storage period in your web browser's cookie settings.

If any of the cookies we use process personal data, this processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR if consent has been given, or in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in ensuring the best possible functionality of the website and a user-friendly and effective website experience.

5) Contacting Us

5.1 WhatsApp Business

You can contact us via the WhatsApp messaging service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. We use the "Business version" of WhatsApp for this purpose.

If you contact us via WhatsApp regarding a specific transaction (for example, an order you have placed), we will store and use the mobile phone number you use with WhatsApp, as well as your first and last name (if provided), in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, to process and respond to your inquiry. Based on the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further information (order number, customer number, address, or email address) to assign your inquiry to a specific transaction.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (e.g., about our range of services, availability, or our website), we will store and use the mobile phone number you use with WhatsApp, as well as your first and last name (if provided), in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in providing the requested information efficiently and promptly.

Your data will always be used only to respond to your inquiry via WhatsApp. It will not be shared with third parties.

Please note that WhatsApp Business accesses the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of its parent company, Meta Platforms Inc., in the USA. We use a mobile device to operate our WhatsApp Business account, and its address book contains only the WhatsApp contact data of users who have actually contacted us via WhatsApp.

This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact data is stored in our address book has already consented to the transfer of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts, in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR, by accepting the WhatsApp Terms of Service upon first using the app on their device. The transfer of data from users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.

This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact data is stored in our address book has already consented to the transfer of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts, in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR, upon first using the app on their device. For information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and privacy settings, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which protects the data of our website visitors and prohibits its disclosure to third parties.

The processing described above may involve data transfers to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

5.2 When you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is processed – solely for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiry and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted when it is clear from the circumstances that the matter has been resolved and provided that no statutory retention obligations apply.

6) Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account

Pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed to the extent necessary if you provide it to us when opening a customer account. The data required for account opening is indicated in the input fields of the corresponding form on our website.

Based on our legitimate interest in effective and user-friendly newsletter marketing, we pass on the data you provide when registering for the newsletter to this provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR so that they can send the newsletter on our behalf.

Subject to your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, the provider also carries out a statistical evaluation of the success of newsletter campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the emails sent, which can measure opening rates and specific interactions with the content of the newsletter. In doing so, terminal device information (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system) is also collected and evaluated, but not merged with other data sets.
You can revoke your consent to newsletter tracking at any time with effect for the future.

The provision of further data is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. We use the double opt-in procedure for sending emails, which ensures that you will only receive a notification once you have expressly confirmed your consent by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address you provided.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We store your IP address as entered by your Internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data we collect when you register for our email notification service for product availability is used strictly for this purpose.

You can unsubscribe from availability notifications at any time by sending a message to the controller mentioned above. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be immediately deleted from our distribution list set up for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

8.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

- Apple Pay

If you choose the ‘Apple Pay’ payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the ‘Apple Pay’ function on your iOS, watchOS or macOS device by debiting a payment card stored with ‘Apple Pay’. Apple Pay uses security features built into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, you must enter a code that you have previously set and verify your identity using the Face ID or Touch ID feature on your device.

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for the payment to be made. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm that the payment was successful.

If personal data is processed during the transfers described above, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Apple stores anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve Apple Pay and other Apple products and services.

When you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you made using Safari on your Mac, your Mac and the authorisation device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the option to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’ and disable ‘Allow payments on Mac’.

For more information about Apple Pay privacy, visit the following website: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

- Google Pay

If you choose the ‘Google Pay’ payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (‘Google’), payment processing is carried out via the ‘Google Pay’ application on your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 (‘KitKat’) and equipped with NFC functionality by debiting a payment card stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorise a payment via Google Pay in excess of €25, you must first unlock your mobile device using the verification method you have set up (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, will be passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a unique transaction number, which is used to verify that the payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment details of your payment method stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts solely as an intermediary for processing the payment transaction. The transaction is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by debiting the payment method stored in Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the transfers described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, the merchant's location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data and the optimisation and maintenance of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

9) Web Analytics Services

9.1 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which allows us to analyze your use of our website.

By default, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies when you visit the website. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and collect certain information. This information includes your IP address, which Google truncates by removing the last few digits to prevent it from being directly linked to you.

The information is transmitted to and processed by Google on its servers. This may also involve transfers to Google LLC, which is located in the USA.

Google uses the collected information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics and shortened will not be merged with other Google data. The data collected through the use of Google Analytics 4.0 will be stored for two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on your device, will only take place if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Without your consent, Google Analytics 4.0 will not be used during your visit to our website. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service using the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further legal information regarding Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de, and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Demographics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special feature "demographics" to generate statistics that provide information about the age, gender, and interests of website visitors. This is achieved by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows for the identification of target groups for marketing activities. However, the collected data cannot be attributed to any specific individual and is deleted after a storage period of two months.

Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have enabled personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including those related to cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalized ads" feature in your Google account settings. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=de

Further information about Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de

UserIDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "UserIDs" feature may be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4.0 in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, have created an account on this website, and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

9.2 1&1 IONOS WebAnalytics

This website uses the web analytics service provided by: 1&1 IONOS Internet SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany

Using cookies and/or similar technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information about the device used, such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analysis of user behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized user profiles. Among other things, this allows for the evaluation of movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits as well as interactions with page content (e.g., text input, scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs). Pseudonymization fundamentally precludes any direct identification of individuals. Your personal data will not be combined with other personally identifiable information collected through other means.

All processing described above, in particular the reading or storage of information on your device, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

10) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

Meta Pixel with Advanced Matching

Within our online services, we use the "Meta Pixel" service from the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

When a user clicks on an ad we place on Facebook or Instagram, the "Meta Pixel" adds a parameter to the URL of our linked page. This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection via a cookie set by our linked page itself. This cookie also collects specific customer data, such as the email address, which we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram ad during processes like purchases, account logins, or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read, enabling the transmission of the data, including the specific customer data, to Meta.

Meta Pixel adds a parameter to the URL of our linked page. We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they match users' interests or exhibit certain characteristics (e.g., interests in specific topics or products, determined based on websites visited) that we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

In addition, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an ad (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel," the advanced matching feature helps us better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, enabling it to be associated with the respective user profile and allowing Meta to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data allows Meta and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies to read information on your device, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is generally transferred to and stored on a Meta server; in this context, data may also be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.
